The "less painstaking reproduction of a Wilshire, looking more like an Epiphone Crestwood" is available as of November 2009. It is actually a pretty decent reproduction of a 1966 model, albeit without the Epiphone vibrola which was fitted at the time. It is not surprising that it looks like a Crestwood as the Crestwood, Wilshire, Coronet and Olympic Special were all based on the same body and neck. The mini humbuckers are period correct for 1966, the P90's being dropped when the range was remodeled between '63 and '64.
